CAPIAMO INSIEME COSA SIA IL TONICO E QUALI SIANO LE SUE FUNZIONI:
Il tonico è un prodotto che si presenta sempre in forma di lozione liquida a base d’acqua che va utilizzato in modo complementare allo struccante o al latte detergente.
La sua funzione principale, è quella di ristabilire il Ph neutro della pelle grazie alla sua formula leggermente acida; infatti la sua azione è quella di di rimuovere i residui del prodotto usato per struccarsi (latte detergente o struccante) ricompattando la pelle, migliorandone l’idratazione e riequilibrando così nel complesso il Ph della pelle.
Tra le principali funzioni, la più importante è quella di rimuovere le impurità dal viso aiutandolo a rafforzare le difese naturali della pelle evitando così una lesione dei pori dilatati della pelle.
In merito alla sua funzione legata alla skin care, è un prodotto molto utile a far assorbire al meglio i prodotti usati successivamente così che i principi attivi vengano assorbiti completamente e correttamente dalla pelle.
Molto importante come viene applicato sul viso.
Ricordiamoci di applicarlo sempre dopo esserci struccate e aver tolto le impurità o i residui di make-up dal viso; per una corretta e efficace applicazione, bisogna tamponarlo sul viso con un dischetto di cotone ben imbevuto di prodotto, prima di applicare il siero o la crema.
Durante l’applicazione, bisogna fare attenzione a non avvicinarsi troppo alla zona del contorno occhi per evitare arrossamenti o fastidi.
Inoltre il prodotto, non si comporta come uno struccante, pertanto non necessità di essere risciacquato altrimenti si avrebbe solo uno spreco di prodotto perché i principi attivi ristabilizzanti per la pelle, andrebbero persi.
Ricordiamoci che la scelta del tonico, che può essere totalmente a base acquosa o a base acida, bisogna sempre far riferimento al tipo di pelle e alle sue “problematiche”; per le pelli normali o secche, è consigliato un tonico a base completamente acquosa, per le pelli grasse invece bisogna scegliere un tonico a base acida (attenzione all'uso di quest'ultimo in estate perchè non è consigliato l'utilizzo di basi acide con il caldo e il sole) in modo da contrastare le impurità della pelle.
Il "problema" si può presentare in presenza di una pelle mista perché questa ha tratti di vari altri tipi di pelle combinati fra loro, quindi o si sceglie nello specifico un prodotto adatto alle caratteristiche personali della pelle o si può anche procedere con l'uso combinato di diverse formule di tonico in modo da ottenere quello più adatto.
